M60 paso a paso (y IV) - M60 step by step (and IV)

Este es el cuarto y último post de una serie donde explico paso a paso el proceso de pintura del M60A3 TTS ET que se puede ver en este enlace: M60A3 TTS ET. Los post anteriores de la serie pueden verse aquí: Etapa primera, Etapa segunda, Etapa tercera.

Etapa cuarta

La cuarta etapa consta de dos pasos:

1. Oleos. En este punto, el carro tiene un aspecto general muy bueno, sin embargo, todavía se le puede añadir riqueza al empolvado con la ayuda de los óleos. Yo he usado las siguientes referencias:
   222 de Rembrandt (amarillo de Nápoles claro) y 035 de 502 Abteilung (Buff) para aclarar por zonas el empolvado.
   78 de Titán (tierra sombra tostada), 125 de 502 Abteilung (light mud) y 100 de 502 Abteilung (faded gray) para oscurecer por zonas en empolvado.
   70 de 502 Abteilung (dark rust), 90 de 502 Abteilung (industrial earth) y 78 de Titán (tierra sombra tostada) para las manchas de suciedad escurrida.
   Se depositan pequeñas cantidades y se funden con un pincel plano de cerdas suaves ligeramente humedecido en disolvente White Spirit sin olor de la marca Talens, con movimientos verticales en las zonas verticales y circulares en las zonas horizontales.
2. Colocar faros y periscopios. Los faros son de SKP, la referencia 117 para el Abrams. Los periscopios se han recortado en papel adhesivo de espejo coloreado en azul o negro (del que se vende en tiendas de automoción, para tunear los coches).

Stage fourth

The fourth stage consists of three steps:

1. Oils. At this point, the model looks very good overall, however, still can add richness to dusty with the help of the oils. I have used the following references:
2. Naples yellow light
 and Buff, to lighten the dusty areas.
Burnt umber, Light mud and Faded gray, to darken the dusty areas.
Dark rust, Industrial Earth and Burnt umber, for drained dirt stains.
Small amounts are deposited and fused with a soft bristle flat brush moistened in odorless White Spirit, with vertical movements in vertical zones and circulars movements in horizontal zones.
3. Placing headlights and periscopes. The headlights are the 117 reference from SKP, Headlights for the Abrams. The periscopes have been cut from adhesive mirror colored paper in blue or black (which is sold in automotive stores, to tune the cars).
